Hannah Pezzack is a British writer, editor, and curator based in the Netherlands.
Working across publishing, radio, podcasts, discursive events, and workshops, her practice engages with culture through the lens of sound, language, and collective experience. In particular, she examines how listening – to each other, to our environments, and to history – shapes our understanding of politics, art, and social life.
A finalist for the 2025 Artlab Editorial Fellowship and a graduate of the Warman School, her writing has appeared in journals and publications – both online and in print – worldwide (in VICE, Resident Advisor, Zweikommasieben, The Wire, The Quietus, WORMS, etc.)
Currently, she is an assistant curator at Sonic Acts, an art, theory, and technology organisation, where she edits the annual Ecoes magazine.
Previously, she served as managing editor of Extra Extra, a journal focused on sensuality and urban life, where she edited pieces by Lauren Berlant, McKenzie Wark, Legacy Russell, Franco “Bifo” Berardi, and Huw Lemmey, among many others.
As an experienced interviewer and moderator, she has hosted conversations with artists and thinkers including Cosey Fanni Tutti, Lyra Pramuk, Ale Hop, Elvia Wilk, and Astrida Neimanis. She is a freelance communications copywriter for cultural institutions, galleries, and festivals, composing biographies, programme notes, and exhibition texts.
DJing under her own name, Pezzack co-hosts Scrying the Landscape with Elina Tapio on Mutant Radio, a mix series about sonic fiction and mysticism. She has appeared on line-ups at Garage Noord, Murmur, Sameheads, Salon des Amateurs, and on NTS Radio.
